Course:

This 4-hour course includes both classroom discussion and skills practice. Using a hands on approach students will have gain basic proficiency in navigation using a map and compass.

Course curriculum includes:
Map reading
Terrain association
Compass use
Route planning

Upon successful completion of this course students will receive a Northern Ridgeline Wilderness Solutions certificate of completion.
