This 4-hour course includes both classroom discussion and skills practice. Using a hands on approach students will gain basic proficiency in repairing common bicycle issues occurring while on rides, and basic preventive maintenance. Students will be asked to bring their own bike to practice on during the course.

Course curriculum includes:
Basic bicycle safety
Changing tire tubes
Cleaning and lubricating bike chains
Preventive maintenance
Building a bicycle repair kit

Upon successful completion of this course students will receive a Northern Ridgeline Wilderness Solutions certificate of completion.
